taking private voice lessons with my fave, Kayla Petrille at Self-Made Vocal Studio

I'm a member of two ongoing actor training programs--one called "The Practice" at The Green Room Studio in Chicago, and one called "BAMF Actor in Action" with Jo Kelly out of LA. (Yes, that's the actual name of the program 💪🏻) I love the daily training, feedback, and support that these two groups have given me!

Last August, I shot a Recurring Guest Star Role in the romantic comedy webseries, Converting. All episodes are out now, on their website! I'm in episodes 3 and 5 😉

Bonus: I was nominated for Best Female Performance in a Drama at the Rio Webfest for my Series Regular performance in the coming-of-age webseries Hot Summer Daze! Check out the first episode here

Booked! - Ladies Play Reading with The International Voices Project

June 24, 2023

We have one performance at the Instituto Cervantes on June 28.

Performed! - A Town Called Progress

April 16, 2023

I was in the world premiere of A Town Called Progress with Promethean Theatre Ensemble!

I had gotten cast in this show on December 15, 2019 (I went wayyyy back in my email to track down the date of the actual offer email). We were supposed to go up in April 2020, but... I think you can guess what happened. It was so fulfilling to bring to life the play that had been in the back of my brain for over 3 years.

We ran March 18-April 15, and it was an absolute delight. I played the Lead Role of Vivian, an optimistic-yet-industrious dreamer who is smarter than people give her credit for. I was onstage almost the entire play. I had a sex scene, I birthed a baby on stage, and I had to do it all in an Oklahoma accent. It was a blast!

Booked! - Converting: The Webseries

August 19, 2022

This month, I booked and shot a Recurring Guest Star Role in Converting: The Webseries, directed and written by Ariella Khan, and shot by Dhruv Mehra. The show is about an intercultural South Asian couple navigating the complexities of their identities--both together and apart.

This was another Northwestern-heavy set! Ariella and Dhruv are both Northwestern alums, along with my onscreen ex-boyfriend Rishi Mahesh, and truly a ton of the crew.

I had so much fun on this set! Everyone was super warm, welcoming, and kind. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Booked! - Year One Feature Film

June 30, 2022

We shot a movie!

In May, I was cast in a Supporting Role in the coming-of-age indie feature, Year One, written and directed by fellow Northwestern alum Lauren Loesberg. In June, we shot it!

The film is about Ruby's (Elizabeth Yu) freshman year of college--and what she learns about her relationship with others, but more importantly her relationship with herself.

I had so much fun playing Ruby's quirky-yet-sincere best friend, Amy. Everyone on set was super warm and kind, and there were SO many Northwestern alums! We shot most of it on the Northwestern campus, and The Daily Northwestern even wrote an article about us. 🥰 Check it out here
